Guys I have a 07 hawkeye wrx now it comes with a third brake light on the parcel shelf but I have fitted a sti spoiler which comes with a brake light in it, I wanted to connect it up but don't to have four rear brake lights so I was going to remove the original one on the parcel shelf is this a good idea and if I remove it will I be left with a hole in my parcel shelf, any ideas

Why not just disconnect it, use the wires to connect to the spoiler brake light, leave the one in the car in place.

That way, no holes, and easy to put back to standard if necessary later.
