Default lambda problem

Hi guys. I have a my01 wrx and it had sports cat fitted and would throw cel on every few months but once cleared was fine for a couple of months. Had decat fitted and remap few weeks ago and got cel on. Code reader says bank2 lamba. Reset but light came back on 5mins later. Am i right in thinking its a faulty downpipe sensor? Can these be cleaned or best get new one? I worried about driving car till this problem is fixed. Thanks for any help

What actual code number did it bring up?
Sounds like a new sensor required if remap already done.

Yes new sensor is required, you will need Denso Lambda sensor(4 wire, classic have 3 wire),just don't buy Bosch lambda sensor, this will not work on New age
