Default morettes wiring

i think ive figured out most of it but the one i cant figure out is the one in the pic.


just where does the long wire go

help would be greatly appreciated

a link to fitting classic morettes (i think yours might be bugeye..) may give u an idea where these wires go

thanks mate for that this is what they say
"There are two taps, one is gray, one is blue. These need to be tapped into the stock headlamp wiring on the driver side. The brown wire runs to the negative (-) terminal on the battery, and the black wire with the fuse runs to the positive (+) terminal"

only difference is mines brown and red as opposed to gray and blue but hope it works

I THINK ITS FOR POWERING OTHER HEADLIGHT !!!I MAYBE WRONG IVE EMAILED THEM DIAGRAMS

Quite likely to be the feed for the other headlight, maybe the main beam? Check the other light for matching connectors?

I've checked the other light and there are no spare connectors mate

Theres a few ways to wire these how many relays have you got apart from the oem ones ??

Is one of them spliced into the + battery wire in your picture ?? If it is its a live feed for the relay on the other side which would make the other wire a power feed for high beam.

i thought it was splice from the bty live feed but it appears to come from another part of the plug



this might be better


i have them on the car at the mo but i couldnt figure out where the wires go, i.e which part of the plug or pin does the red wire go and which colour is the main beam live on the other light
