Hi guys,

Just getting my performance mods sorted beggining of next week along with some new 18's. Now the wheels will be the start of my styling mods.

My bug is silver and the 18's i'm fitting are power black, i'm considering fitting a carbon sti rear wing to compliment the black wheels and just to look a bit different. Following on from the silver and black/carbon look I came across these lights on ebay and wondered if anyone on here had any experience of them and knew if they were any good or not?

Also it would be great if anyone had any pics of any scoobs with these fitted as i've never seen them on a car before. I've always loved the jdm sti dark lights on the bugeye but just looking for something different.

Not e-marked afaics, crap beam pattern almost inevitable.

You'd be better fitting HID into some STi lights, or Morettes.

 

Hi. I have these fitted onto my bug. With standard bulbs ain't actually very good.

I have fitted a 35w hid kit for normal beam and a 55w hid kit for full beam. the beam pattern isn't very good but with these bulbs ( both are on at full beam ) they light up pretty much everything.

They look ok I suppose but given the choice again I would have de tangoed the originals in the oven or possibly gone for the sti lights?

I have also covered mine with a carbon vinyl wrap as the plastic does look a little cheap.......
