Have H4R Bi-xenon in mine and no glare what so ever, as they have a shroud to cover the bulb so you only get light to where you need them, they also fire back and fore to do main beam.
Mine were £40 delivered off Ebay (Canada Auto or something), and I`ve NEVER had any issues. I`ve been followed by my car in the dark, and had no glare issues at all infact was better than being followed by an Audi (those things blinded me).
Just make sure you get H4 R as the R says they have the shroud.
These are you normal blind people Xenon bulbs.
These are H4R, see the shroud.
Give them a go, I find them no worse than standard halogen bulbs for beam scatter/glare, but MUCH better for light output.

Apparrently the M.O.T rules change in November 2011 on aftermarket HiD kits, regardless if you use projectors or not. A lot of talk on this on the internet. Basically if you have HiDs, they have to be auto adjustables via the suspension and have headlamp washers. Use google and you will see a lot of forums talking of this. Even the Vosa website mentions checking headlamps and the changes on headlamp checks.
