2003 sti8 uk with the factory sigma, one with keypad in fuse box flip down,its now started churping once when the key is put in the ignition,then alarm goes off ,any one know what could be wrong ?

 

mine did that a couple of times before the battery died this week.
No other warning just did that a couple of times and then next time i tried to start it the battery was dead.

 

Cheers dude,got same answers when i googled it,saying low vehicle battery voltage,just weird as there is enough power to crank over and fire the car.

 

You might find something here 34 pages of sigma problems
seems there not the most reliable,as above mine goes funny with a low battery and only just turns over if it cranks normally maybe among the problems below.
