Just bought brand new o.e. (still boxed) coil pack off an e-bay seller for 30 notes - needed a spare as I had a misfire recently which cleared itself but -you never know.
Anyhoo, seller reckons it would be suitable for all Impreza's with this type of coil pack and it looks just like mine (coil pack built in to plug cup with a plug in electrical connection which comes out horizontally)
Thing is, on my car (2001 UK WRX Wagon with EJ205 engine) part number on coil pack is Diamond FK0140 and on the one I bought its Diamond FK0186 (Subaru ref on box is 22433AA451) Have trawled tinternet to try and see if there is a difference but got no where. Anyone help? Would it be suitable or are there internal electrical differences?

OK - have trawled the net again and found that my FK0140 pencil coil pack uses 3 ms Dwell Time and the FK0186 that I bought uses 5 ms Dwell Time. Not sure what all that means but sounds like it would not be wise to use it. Anyone confirm what all that means in Scooby speak?
