Urgent help please!! Headlights not working :(
Ok i need some urgent help please guys!!
The headlights have stopped working on my 2003 wrx.
The sidelights, full beam, rear lights, indicators, fog lights etc all work it's just the normal headlights.
Both bulbs look fine, both fuses look fine (one per headlight), I'm sure the relays are ok, i can hear the relays click when i switch on the sidelights but not the headlights. When i turn the switch back a click from headlights to sidelights i can hear the relay click.
I took the horn relay as it's the same as the headlight relays and tried it in the headlight relay slot but they still don't work.
I've put a multimeter in the plug that clips onto the headlight bulb and i'm getting nothing. I did the dame thing in the relay slot and i'm getting power.
I unplugged the plug that clips onto the switch stalk on the steering column and i'm getting power there so i'm thinking the problem is between the fuse board and the actual headlights.
It's a bit weird that BOTH headlights have gone i just can't figure out what's wrong!!
Please please please can someone help me, my girlfriends car is off the road at the moment so we can't leave the house after 4pm because it's too bloody dark!
I'm based in Rushden, Northamptonshire if anyone is local and has an idea how to fix it there's a beer in it for you if you can help me or if anyone on here has any ideas i'd much appreciate your input!!
Cheers guys!
Jonny

Hi Jonny - exactly the same thing has happened tonight with my '53 Wagon - please please let me know what the fix was - I can't go out past 4pm now (like some sort of weird curfew!) as its dark!!
Hoping you see this very soon
Thanks!
Mark
