Default Crystal Headlights...Electric Adjust?

Does anyone know how the Elect Adjust feature works on Classic Impreza headlights?

I'm looking at getting a set of crystal lights but want to make sure they work with the height adjust switch on the dash (I know the thing is hardly used but I'm incredibly **** about cr*p like that...).

Is the adjustor something built into the headlights? If so does anyone know where I can get a set of headlights with this? eBay has loads but always states manual adjust only...I don't know if this refers to that or that you have the 'screw' to adjust the position they sit in.

Any help as always if welcome...and I'm sorry for the stupid **** question...

Thanks Stiggy J

If you get a set of OE lights, rather than e-bay knock-offs, they will have electrical adjust. You just take the motors off your old ones, (3 bolts/screws iirc), and put them on your new, with the ball at the end of the electrical adjuster seated in the socket in the light.

Aftermarket lights MAY have this feature, but without the motors, they can't sell them as electrical adjust, so check first. Try breakers, there are still quite a few with crystal lights classics being broken. I have a pair in my loft waiting for me to have enough dosh to convert them to HID projector.
