hawkeye headlights

Default hawkeye headlights

how do i change the bulbs in my hawkeye......... i cant get my hand behind the lights.

I'm sure there is an easy way...just not found it

if they havn't blown dont bother. you can either remove the headlight which is a very time consuming job or try to remove the bulb holders with a pair of long nose plyers (especially for the sidelight bulbs) and hope you dont damage the plastic and cut your hands to shreds in the process. i speak from experience as i wanted to change the sidelight and main beam bulbs to something abit brighter. the drivers one was the easiest as you just remove the filter cowling, but the passenger side is not so easy because of the battery and the washer bottle is in the way.

its just i live out in the sticks and wanted to do the main beam bulbs as they are cr4p, even with HID's for main lights they just dont light up the road as well.

Suppose i could go one other way and fit a lamp pod
