Hi,at first glance my standard 05 sti head unit seems fine.All the functions work ok cd and tape plays and you can chenge radio channels,but i have no sound from any speakers.I took it out and checked the connections and they seem ok.and obviously the fuse is ok,so please help im loosing the will to live on this one.

Hi davy,funny enough i have the same problem with my impreza sport.The cd player itself works but theres no sound!Maz.

 

Can you try a known working headunit? It sounds as if your output transistors are shot. New headunit, if so, Im afraid

 

Cheers for the reply,but its back working again?????Its been doing this off and on for a while now.A possible dry joint???If so where?
