ok thick red is perm 12+, the grn 1 goes to your main ignition wire, thats the 1 that shows 12+ while cranking don't worry about the blue, the thin blk is the ground and the grey goes to the wire coming from the handbrake switch,

if you have an alarm on the car you won't be able to arm it until your timer has finished running as the alarm will be getting an ignition feed,

all these can be fitted on the loom coning from the ignition key, but fit them on the car side not between the plug and the ignition barrell.

Unfortunately Not, however the clifford does have a Feature to add in a Turbo timer, I payed £50 to have one added into mine, at the time of Instalation. from what i understand it is just a few relays.

I am a Mechanic too lol, I was Trained mainly on Vaxhalls, but since i got my Scooby about 7 years ago, I have mainly worked on Scooby.

I have done some wiring, at College, and have fitted cat 1 alarms, to thatcham Standard.
I am sure i could help you out with the timer if needed.

Hi guys, i can tell you how to do both ways of fitting a turbo timer to your car, with an alarm.

part list

any turbo timer you fancy
2 diodes from maplins in 5404 or in5402 either are ok,
soldering iron, solder, tape, snips, wire strips,

ok remove panel above knee, locate ignition loom, there are 4 wire, the 1 you need is the ignition wire it will carry 12+ while under crank, if you have alarm with ign cut find the ignition output from the alarm normally a black wire going into the subaru ignition wire, colour varies either red or red/blue(test with volt meter),

here is a diagram i have knocked up, it is for cars that have had aftermarket alarm with an ignition cut, if the alarm has starter and fuel cut you will need to re-wire the fuel cut to the ignition cut, BUT, some alarms 2nd cut ie: fuel is a low amp cut unlike clifford that cut the ignitoon and the relays in the alarm unit can handle the high ampage draw.

if you can not understand this please pm i will help you out as much as i can, when done right you will be able to arm your clifford alarm while the engine still runs, if you have anything other than clifford please pm me i will do what i can to work it out fot you.

useing a relay from the channel outputs from cliffords

locate your alarm processer, pm with the model number

you need a 12 volt 5 pin 40amp relay from any car shop insulated female spade terminals,

Mark
