Moving Heater Controls
I've got a '97 Impreza WRX and i'm toying with the idea of moving the 3 heater controls (Temp, direction and 'force'??) ...
... anyways, before taking my dash apart was wondering, behind the heater controls are they connected to just wires, so relocating them would just mean lengthening the wires?
Or is it more complicated than this?
And is this the same situation with gauges (water temp, oil pressure and boost pressure)... relocating these would it just me a case of lengthening wires?
Thanks

depends on where u want to move em to on how easy the job would be
They are cables to move fans hot/cold open/close which are not easy to extend the rest are wires which are simple
simple to move em down to say the centre console but moving across may be difficult also if its a pre facelift dash u also have the blower behind to blank off
all depends on what reason u want to do it

if your only moving th dials then you dont need to blank off the heater vents as you can still use them. i have my defi's in there and they dont get hot because the heat still comes out the vents
