Hi,

On my '95 V2 STi, I sometimes get the battery light on the dash flickering whilst the car is running. Its never on idle, only when the engine is on load. (I assume the handbrake light shares the same gnd/12v as that flickers at the same time..)

Engine earth seems good and alternator is giving a sensible output....It can happen with hardly any or a very high electrical load...

Ideas...??!!

 

Update - Sorted. Loose connection on alternator aux plug as it was damaged. New one fitted, problem solved
