Default Blob headlight bulbs

One of my colleagues pointedo ut this morning that my passenger side headlight was out. Looks like a trip to Helfrauds for me after work.

What fitment/bulb type does my car take? I dont know ANY of this stuff

H1 bulbs, unless you have tiny hands it's easier to take the battery out to give yourself more space, ideally replace in pairs.

The offside just take off the air ram scoop, 2x10mm bolts, and easy to get to.

All listed in your handbook too. If you need to replace sidelight bulb its a headlight out jobbie.

Don't, as I did yesterday, trust the little halfords book in front of the bulbs that tells you which to buy. I didn't look in the impreza handbook and just picked the one listed, which turned out to be wrong. Quick trip back, H1 bulb (twin pack, £9.99) bought and lesson learned!

Cheers guys. Halfords were insistent I needed an H4 but I told them it was an H1 and got them fitted. Lo and behold, they were H1s

Got a pair of the Super Brilliance ones. Quite good they are.
