Guys,
Some time ago I purchase the above product from Aztec/Bob.
I had them fitted by an auto electrician
I had a garage check my car for MOT, he said that the lights were a bit low and raised them both in line
My car passed MOT with them no problem.
In N.Ireland its official government testing centres only.
I distinctly remember the guy testing both lights and he even said "We'll let those warm up a bit first" when I first switched them on.
However, why are people flashing their lights at me.
I assume I'm blinding them?
So should I use the adjuster in the car to lower the level or something?
Thanks,
Shaun

Hi Sean, you don't say what car they are fitted to? Or what bulbs are in..H4, H1 etc?
If, as I suspect, you are using H4 bulbs, the lights that are on the car from new cause scatter, so if there is MORE light, then there will be MORE scatter. This is at it's worst in the classics with their AWFUL lights, which put the light anywhere but where it's needed
Yes, the car will/should pass an MoT, since it OUGHT to have the correect beam pattern on dip, which is really all that UK MoT centres test for, but the scatter WILL be a problem, hence you get flashed. And all the claims by sellers of these things about them being perfect as they pass an MoT, are just so much hot air
There are two possible solutions, not counting go back to halogen bulbs:
1. Turn 'em down a notch or two, as you suggested, and
2. Remove the awful OE lights for some Morettes.......which are now like finding rocking horse sh*t.

Have them re-aligined and ensure the bulbs are seated correctly.
Fitted correctly you will not blind any on coming drivers guaranteed (I've had them on my classic now for years and fitted plenty locally).
