Evenin' all,

My alternator packed up yesterday on my my03 wrx, and I was wondering if the best option was to stick with a standard subaru replacement (i think i've been a victim of the 'smart' alternator issues having a trackstar tracker installed as well) or to upgrade it as I'm planning to upgrade the ice sometime soon.

Does anyone have a recommendation for where the best place to get an upgraded alternator would be and what make/model to go for?
