Ok, so in the middle of doing my bugeye to blobeye conversion.
I need some help with the headlights.
The original bugeye has a combined dipped/main beam (ie: 1 bulb).
so a live for main, a live for dipped and an earth for both.
The blobeye has seperate bulbs for main and dipped beam.
So after a bit of thinking/advice, i used a multimeter to determine which wire was the live for each beam.
I then split the ground between the two.
So wired them in, and they work. Happy days.... sort of!
It seems now, that whenever i switch the dipped beams on, the blue 'warning' light for the main beam comes on, on the dash board. Whether its dipped beam, or main beam that is on, the main beam blue light stays on.
The only time i can get it to go out is if i disconnect the highbeam wiring from the bulb/back of headlight unit.
Any idea's what could be causing this issue??
