If you haven't already I'd get STI lights first then HID them or get the JDMS which are HID out of the box.

Hi Ozz I see you have STI lights, so H1 for dip beam ( any colour you like) BUT don't get 6000 K or higher for Main beam, as the extra blue light produced is scattered by moisture in the atmosphere.... I find the "glow" very distracting myself, so 4300 K HB3 for main beam.

Pretty blue 6000+ K in the dip beam will look cool on the streets tho'..... IMHO

HTH

dunx

P.S. With my Hella 1000FF's HID'd up too I can see for miles, and miles, and.....

4300K on mine - also from Bob at Aztec, and fitted to my UK STI projector lamps.
I wrote the bugeye fitting guide which you'll find here if you do a search.
Cracking bit of kit - reckon you see about one and a half times or even twice as far as conventional bulbs. I hate driving cars with standard headlights at night now.

BTW - I was also told strictly speaking for an MOT test headlamp colour should be white or yellow so officially 6 or 8000k is a failure, but I suspect most stations will still pass em.

And you'll want some LED bulbs to go with em otherwise the standard bulbs just look wrong next to the HID's

I might get some HIDs for my bugeye, but is it safe/legal fitting them to standard WRX headlights (reflector) ?

If not I might just go for some PIAA halogens.

Safe yes.... if the kits are any good, legal not really as the UK dictates that HID's need self-levelling and washers to be legal.

Mine are aimed just a fraction lower than std., and I can drop them on the adjuster.

Had PIAA's on my classic and then stuck them onto my bug-eye, now replaced with Hella 1000FF's with.... another H1 HID kit and they are awesome !

Mean to take some pics....
