my impreza has an hks turbo timer fitted to it which i have never used, i have tried to use it but it doesnt seem to work correctly. when i turn the car off it turns off but the turbo timer still counts down. . .

do you have the correct harness or did you wire it up yourself? just that i have recently just fitted one with the hks harness and it was just plug and play? although it sounds like the ignition switch and live wire around the wrong way to me as timer should not stay on without engine running? i would double check the ignition wires 1st!
