Default cel problem grrr

alright guys, i have a 03 blob eye wrx type uk, then CEL came on and so took it to subaru and plugged it in and came back as 02 sensor and cylinder misfire on 1,
soo, got a new sensor plugged it in and happy days the 02 sensor reading had gone, but the misfire on cylinder one was still ther, so changed the obv and put a new set of plugs in, turned light off on the comp and 3 miles down the road on it comes again, so back to the garage and changed the coil pack, now i cant even switch the light off as its comming right back on, althought since changing the coil pack, its running smoother and there was some smoke as i fired the car up for the first time, indicating the coil was now working as it was burning off the unburnt fuel in the cylinder yes??

was else could it be to cause a cylinder misfire? ht lead may b? injector?
any ideas or any one had a similar problem??

cheers in advance guys
cj
