Hazzard warning light
Hey guys
My hazard warning lights have packed up. The indicators work fine so I'm assuming its the relay. Where is it located? I've tried searching on here but cant seem to find its location!! Also does anyone know what type it is as Subaru main dealers want £58 when i phoned them up!!!! Must be made of gold for that price!!!!
Cheers

Indicators work only when the ignitions on. Hazard lights work when the ignition is on or off. So there must be a two fuses, one for the indicators supplied from the ignition key and a separate fuse that just supplies the hazard lights.
The flasher relay is used for both the indicators and the hazards. If the indicators are OK then likely the flasher unit is OK.
So forget the flasher unit and go hunting for a blown fuse.

Hey guys forgot all about this then remembered i have my MOT on Monday so need to fix it!!
Been having a proper look and after getting the multimeter out have found out that there is no permanent live to the switch. To save me trying to trace the wire does anyone know where this comes from? Is it the fuse box in the drivers foot well?
Thanks

If it's dead, I'd STILL suspect the fuse. Those blade fuses can LOOK OK but still be gone.
Find out which one it is, pull it and substitute a new one. Or put a multimeter set to Ohms across it to check.
