Does anyone know of a link to help me (and KojaK) do the above too his car ?
I've got loads of stuff, but colour coding on levelling motors would be a big help !

Are these the JDM Sti units?

I have fitted the 'Wagons Ho' harness inc. levelling to my WRX Bug with JDM STis and could take a peek if you need. I had to change the levelling switch as well (Nissan part).

 

I think they are UK STI, just picked them up.

I'll have to troll around t'net for the wiring diagrams....#

Not without taking them out sorry! It's stamped on the back of the bulb holder

There was a wiring diagram on here, but I can't find it at the moment.

TBH, I've not bothered with the leveling, the alignement's good enough for the MOT and I never use my car for lugging any real weight about, the wife's people carrier is for that.

In the mean time try this...



You will need a new leveler switch as the WR$X one has only 4 connections, the STi one has 6.

Color code Color
L - Blue
B - Black
Y - Yellow
G - Green
R - Red
W - White
Br - Brown
Lg - Light green
Gr - Gray
P - Pink
Or - Orange
Lb - Light Blue
V - Violet
SA - Sealed (Inner)
SB - Sealed (Outer)

I used to make looms for motorhomes & caravans, so not too phased by it all !
But not so hot on the internet when it comes to it !

I know what you mean, I trained on aircraft electrical systems, but for the last 18 months I've been working networks and it really doesn't excite me.

 

The STi levelling switch can be had cheaper from Nissan as it is a Nissan part - I'll put the part number up later today

Couldn't see anything other than the Nissan logo on the side of the switch, it's black not Scooby Brown though!

 

I sourced my switch from the scrap yards,only cost a couple of pound...think later Almeras had them
