Question

Following the recent recommendations here, I ordered a pair of Phillips Vision Plus bulbs from Powerbulbs.com - v. good service as others have mentioned.
I've fitted the headlight bulbs - significant improvement, but am somewhat stumped on fitting the free sidelight bulbs that came with the headlamp bulbs.
Do you really have to take off the grille, disconnect & remove both headlights?(!!) The manual mentions nothing of this other than to twist off the connector & replace the bulb.
Is there a clever way in from the side reflector?
Cheers
Jem

On my car m/y 00 STi v6 unscrew Phillips holding small bracket at front inside edge of wing above headlight then pull lens forward &towards centre of car. May be necessary to prize forward with protected screwdriver from rear but maintaining forward & inward pull. S/Lt is located by a forward pin &a rear top pin which pop out & a rear bottom locating V bracket. Did mine today. 4no. H4 +60% Xenon + 2no6w Xenon from Andy Batters with S.I.D.C. discount was £34.31 inc dly, V.A.T. [01943608892] If still in difficulty with s/lts give me a ring. 07860302020.

On an 01 the only way to easily replace the sidelight bulb is to remove the whole unit ! I know, I know Its a pain in the ****.
