Default please help

hi all
i got a prob with my radio. basically i swapped it and when i was plugging in the yellow wire (spade connects) there was a lttle click noise. now it dont work at all,along with my interior lights, clock and keyfob locking. also when i turn key in ignition the alarm beeps before any lights or petrol pump start
all help is greatly appreciated and thanks for looking

*edit* 52 bugeye and fuses look ok

You've almost certainly blown a fuse somewhere.

also just noticed the trip meter resets to zero everytime engine is stopped and then started again

It will be a fuse, you need to find out which fuse protects the radio, remove it and replace it with a new one, BEFORE plugging the radio in again, to ensure the other bits still work.

Blade fuses often LOOK OK but aren't.

If you then plug the new set in again, and it happens again, get the new set checked out.

it was a fuse in engine bay. manual only referred to fuses in car
