wen i turn my lights of on my 2001 wrx ,my front side lights and back light stay switched on even after i take my key out...i hav had to take the fuse out over night til i find out why this is happeneing..any does any 1 hav any ideas wot i cud try to sort this problem...thanks

 

Oh I think I can help!

There is a switch behind the steering wheel, on the surround. If it is pushed forward, that leaves parking lights on (as the headlights just turn off when igniotion is removed)

You probably have front side lights, rears and number plates on?

 

thanx..but i hav done everything with the switches they just stayn on....with or with out the keys in the ignition...any other sugestions please..im baffled..lol

 

you have not said if you tried the switch on the cowling or not as advised from the other reply
he is not talking about the switch on the stalks.

 

lol....i found the switch u are talking about...tht is the problem....thanx once again for help...i didnt even relize tht switch was ther im blind as a bat ....lol..thanx
