Default boost gauge wiring

ok im being a pest and im sorry. right i have a auto gauge boost gauge fitted on my scooby i have the following colour wires red , black , and pink where do these connect ive hunted high and low on google etc and cant find anything can anyone help me please. thank you Roger.

Not sure mate but I would have thought red will be 12v supply, black your negative and possibly pink for the lamp? So you would need to tap into nearby wiring

The pink one will be for 'lights on' signal to guage (I've got one). I tapped into one of the positive wires to the light for the ashtray when I did mine.

what will the red and black be for as i connected them up but nothing happened?

They are positive red, and negative black. As it is a mechincal gauge the wires are only for lighting. If you attach the vacuum line it should work without power.
