Question Clifford turbo timer?

Getting a turbo timer built into the alarm on my impreza folks, the fitter reckons the longest he can set it up to stay running is forty seconds, is this sufficient time, i usually give it a bit longer? the alarm is a Clifford Concept 650 Mk11 All comments welcome!

the turbo timer is an optional extra when getting the alarm. I'm after buying the car but the turbo timer wasnt fitted as part of the alarm! What do most view as the correct cooling down time?

I've got the same alarm system in my classic 96 wagon and the turbo timer is set to about 2-3 minutes so I have no idea why the guy told you he can only set it to 40 seconds max. I'd question that with him
