Default air bag light???????????????

i need to deactivate the passenger side air bag but still want the rest of the system to work properly and not have the warning light on.

i know i need a resistor in the airbag plug to simulate the bag resistence but not sure what size.
i am thinking about 3 ohms can anybody confirm this will do the trick?

thanks

You dealer should be able to help you with this one, airbag resistance can vary due to the different manufacturers' inflator requirements.

I know you'll know it, but please don't plug a multimeter across the airbag terminals if you unplug it (with the battery disconnected).
