Electrical problems i think?? Engine management system??

Stated to notice that the rear heater screen was not working as well the rear wiper would not work when the rear heater switch was on.
'ABS' light warning light is showing sometimes as well as the 'check engine warning light', plus the car is hesitating sometimes on idle as if it is starved of petrol and on acceleration?

Subarus of that vintage are notorious for poor earthing.

Start at the battery, check tightness of both terminals, then read about earthing kits and make one up for yourself, fit it and see if it makes a difference.

If you DIY, it'll cost a few quid rather than a lot.
