Additional 12v Socket
#2
Hi m8
It really depends what current you need to pull through the socket once you'ce got everything connected up. No doubt you'll be able to find a feed in the boot somewhere but it'ls likely to be low current i.e. 3 amps or less. If that's all you need, you'll be OK but I'd stick another fuse in-line to be on the safe side. If you need more current than this, I'd take a feed direct from the +ve terminal on the battery (fused, of course) and run the cable through the cabin, which will be a pain in the bum. You'll need an earth connection in the boot somewhere.
Give me a shout if you need any help.
Cheers
