Default Dash circuit

I've a 98 WRX and when I switch the rear fog on it blows the fuse. It's been wired into the dash circuit so I wonder if the 10A fuse is too low a rating. Does anyone know if it'd be safe to increase the rating and to what for that circuit + fog light?

Thanks.

Its more than likely that you have wired it wrong for the fuse to blow. Double check the back of the copper ribbon circuit on the back of the speedo where the fog light illumination symbol is. It might have a shared circuit for power or earths.

Turns out the power and ground were wired the wrong way around. Cheers.
