JDM Style Gauge Dash in a UK STi?

JDM Style Gauge Dash in a UK STi?
Hi,
Wondered if anyone had tried this, fitting a JDM style (red) dash into a UK model STi (2005 model)?
I prefer the JDM dials to the UK one, mainly the way the light up on start up and the red back light.
I am assuming its a straight swap as the ECU holds the vehicle data? Also anyone know where I can source the part?
