Question Blobeye headlight removal 04

Do a search on here and you'll find a couple of good guides to the job. I kinda followed THIS one

I did mine last week without problems. I also sprayed the inner section black.....as I am a sheep and just copy the originators of fine modifications!!

In my opinion, it looks much better.............see:


Once I re-assembled the headlight loosely, I put it back in the oven for about 15 minutes before re-tightening all the little screws that hold the two halves together. When I did this, the mastic could be seen to "squish" out of the gaps........I assume it will have re-sealed!

Do it!!!!

did mine yesterday on my 03 sti, followed the above instructions, piece of cake , took me 2 hours. i put my lights in the oven at the lowest setting for 20 mins , checking them every min to make sure nothing was melting

Does anyone know if there is anywhere in the Essex/Herts area that can do this - I would happily PAY for this to be done to my blob STI ?

Also did mine yesterday , used the guide posted on NASIOC for help .
bit of hassle getting the lights out but other than that very straight forward.
