Default Power Ariel

Hi, odd question this, but does a 01 wrx have an electric ariel. I am asking this simply becasue I can hear a motor when I start the car and also when I switch it off.. and I am starting to wonder if it could be an areal motor....

Of course my ariel does not actaully go up and down automatically.. so I am guessing I have one and its not attatched....

grr

its probably the fuel pump you can hear when you start the engine. It will be priming itself for ignition.

Does your WRX have a PPP upgrade or an uprated fuel pump???

I think it has at least an uprated fuel pump... its at Sheppard Racing right now getting an inventory done.. I am not sure exactly what mods have been undertaken I just have a bill for £7.6k and a list of parts aleged to be on the car... looks like it had an entire engine upgrade about 2 years ago... rods, crank, flywheel, clutch, turbo intercooler etc... but I have no proof whats on it atm...

Seemed odd to me that the car has been uprated so much yet not a single guage or controller in the car.. those are also being installed today. I Also have a cough print out showing it did a qtr in 9.069 but frankly I can't see how its possible in a scooby at all, let alone the one I own.. I am thinking the qtr was more like an 1/8th of a mile , it also states it did 0-60 in 4.19.

Then again I got if for far less than its probably worth so I can't complain.
