Dash LEDs? (CEL one specifically)
Hi all - I have searched for an answer and have turned up nothing.
The red dash lights for oil, check engine, handbrake etc, are these LEDs? and are they known to go?
The reason I ask is that I realised today that I have never seen the check engine light light up. It should illuminate when you turn the key shouldn't it?
Please let me know, I guess I need to get this sorted..
Cheers!!

yes it should come on with ignition on and go off once engine has started(provided there are no faults in ecu) no they are just bulbs iirc
how long have you had the car?a previous owner might of removed the bulb to hide a fault

I have had the car about 4 months.. I haven't noticed anyting wrong with the way it drives.. if something were wrong do you think i would have noticed?
I'll take the clocks out and have a look, see if i can see where the bulb is fitted.
Cheers!

help again ??
I know this is a longshot, but does anyone know what the bulbs are that I would need for the CEL and seatbelt and oil lights? I assume I can get these from:
Dashboard & Panel Bulbs 12V :: Autobulbs Direct Ltd - Xenon bulbs, car bulbs, wiper blades, headlight, Osram, Ring, Philips
