They are H4's, Halfords own brand, in the Gold boxes, 50% uprated, recently did very well in an Auto Express test, coming top for output and optical performance.

They WERE BOGOF last week, so are even better value.

I don't think they have a halfords in Belgium, do they? I have heard a lot about the halfords ones. How much are they then?

I use these:

eBay.co.uk: Ring Sportzblue 100/80w (H4) Bulbs (Pair) (item 200082288664 end time 01-Mar-07 13:19:27 GMT)

They are hardly blue when they are on. Its just the bulb that is blue. Its a nice crisp white light. Don't know why they are not street legal, they almost look like HID's. I was so impressed, I have put off buying a HID's for a while.

Sorry, didn't see he was located in Belgium, oops.

Philips Vision Plus are also well rated, as are GE Megalights which are 60% uprated, both are available via mailorder.

The Halfords ones were £14.99 a PAIR with BOGOF.
