Default Morette reversal!!!

Had Morettes on my car when I got it and a couple of them are cracked, now trying to take them off and refit the originals.

However on the morettes there is one bulb for dipped and one for full beam.

There is only 1 place to put the bulb in the original. How do I wire just one bulb up to do dipped and full beam!!

Hope this makes sense!!! Any pictures of original wiring would be very useful!! Hope this is easy!!

Any help would be great!!

Many thanks,
Dave

PS the car is a 98 Type R version 4.

If what you have now are REAL Morettes, (not copies), they should have two lights per side: the outers are main/dip, and the inners are extra main beams.

The outers use the OE H4 headlamp plugs, which are shaped like this:|_|, a wire for main, one for dip and a common earth return.

Plugs are available from Vehicle Wiring Products.

You ought to be able to remove the relay and any extra wiring and just plug the old three pin plugs onto the stock lights and away you go.

If it's been wired with copies, you'll need to remove the wiring and wire in a pair of the three pin plugs. Examination of an H4 bulb ought to show you which wire goes where.
