Vertical adjuster is at back/bottom of unit in the middle. A sort of knurly edge thing in a hole. Use a medium/large phillips screwdriver to rotate. Side to side adjuster is similar but on the radiator side of each lamp near the top. Can't remember which way to turn for up/down etc but if you're aiming it at a wall it will be pretty obvious.

No screwdriver just goes in from top.

I only used a ring spanner - 8 or 10mm? Perhaps screwdriver is used on classic cars?
Up/down is controlled by adjusting nut on back of motor body towards bottom of unit.
Side to side movement on nut at top of headlight unit.
Access was mildly fiddly but not too bad.

No, I managed with Phillips driver on 03 Blobeye, much easier than spanner as you can easily twiddle it in the adjuster and watch the aim on a wall at the same time.
