Default CAMERA DETECTOR
Hi where is there a live cable that can be connected to without taking the dash apart to power a camera detector so that it will turn off with ignition (53 wrx) thanks in advance.

Hazard light switch, cigarette lighter, radio are all options but all involve some minor dismantling. I wouldn't call it taking the dash apart but you might.

Why not just plug it in the cigarette lighter. Works for me and no fuss at all. Also makes it easy to take off and hide when parked.

It was plugged in to the cigarette lighter but the power adapter has shorted inside (4 months old) and drivesmart will not send a replacement.
