Is it easy enough to change the dash light in a Newage STi clockset?

I'm thinking about getting some Defi's, but the greens (to match the main clocks) is still only in Japan.

So i was thinking about getting the ambers and doing the above if possible.

 

Anybody know if this is possible, or easy enough to do? Spoke with a few tuners, they didn't know anyone.

If i can't change/paint the bulb, just means i'm gonna wait for the green BF's. If it can be done, i'll order the ambers.

 

I'd wait for the proper ones.

Changing the illumination colour isn't easy. Even if you pain the bulb, the chances of matching colour or even brightness of colour, aren't great.

There have been various threads on here in the past about folk using BLUE LEDs to illuminate the dash though..........
