i've been told that there are different settings for my bugeye wrx alarm. is this true?

when setting the alarm the lights flash three times, i've been told that this shows my alarm is not set corretly.

There's a little booklet you get with the new car in the info pack. This gives code settings and options for arming with and without some bits of the alarm. Think someone scanned it and posted the link a couple of years ago. Might be worth a trawl thro the archives.

 

Have you got a keypad in the glovebox or coin tray ?
