Classic centre clock help
I've recently swapped my jap console to a UK spec one . The UK spec console as you know has a clock instead of a cup holder. The clock, comes with a 5 pin plug which unfortunately does not exist in the loom of my 95'WRX .
Does anybody have any idea of what those 5 wires are used for ?
1) Ground
2) permanent + ?
3) ignition switch + ?
4) lights switch + ?
5) ???
I dunno what colours are what so I would be grateful to anybody who can give me some info on the actual clock wiring or point me to the right direction.
Thanks

Right, I presume you still have a *** lighter.
Use the ground off that, and the ignition off that, the light off that and the permanent off that!
Its usually straight forward as to the colours
In MY95 JDM
Red with black strip is ignition
Black with green strip is ground/earth
and the light switch is a red on I think, should only be 2 wires on the light, 1 earth and 1 for power.
Permanent could be a yellow wire, not sure if its on the *** lighter, but there is on on your stereo
