Default Defi Problem

Just left work got in the car, and drove off, looked at my gauges, and they not working, they all are off the zero, but not working. the power is ok, because the lights etc, on the controller are still on, but the buttons on this are having no effect??
any one got any ideas, they have been wokring fine since fitting over 2 weeks ago

Sounds like the erath connection has gone US.

Mine did it about 12 months back. I've now run them back straight to battery -ve.

If it's not that, e-mail Defi in Japan, you'll get a reply in English with instructions on how to fault find your particular fault.

but the earth has been ok for 2 weeks?? i dont get it??

Mine had been on TWO YEARS when the earth just fell off Vibration under dash, I suspect

It's what I'd check first, followed by:

**Do they still have both permanent and switched live? (to the control box).
**Has one of the daisy chain leads come unplugged, loose, or a wire fallen off one of the connectors ? (One of mine needed a new connector when it was delivered).
