Opinions on ebay HID kits
#2
Read this from the HID on-line page. Then assume that the ebay kits will be the opposite, pick from one or all of the followwing: poor beam pattern, unreliable, short life, hard to fit.
Obviously far cheaper from e-bay but as normal you will get what you pay for.
If you are dead set on wanting an HID kit then I would think you should get a kit from a reputable dealer such as the above. If you don't want to pay this much then why not try the ebay kit? However bad an HID kit it is, then it will probably be better than the normal lights.

Hi
I have a set of HIDs in 8000K which I got off Ebay and I never looked back !!!
I love driving at night now the beams are fantasic
Look at item 170028389209 and the dealer is call Genuine Auto, also comes with 3 year warranty !
I got a Blob eye which you need to take the whole bumper off in order to fit them!

Hi what do you mean by low beam, I assume you mean 'normal lights on beam' ie not side lights or full beam.
can you supply full beam as well?

We can also provide the bi-xenon kit in the group buy, which offers both main and full beam (low and high) in HID from one bulb.

Are these prices for a pair (ie car set) or each side? Is there a loom included, ie wiring, fuse, relay etc? What colour temperature are you offering?
For bug eye STi's and blob eye WRX's and STi's we'd need H1 for dip and 9005 (HB3) for main. For blob eye morettes H7. Can you do conversions for all of these? Bug eye WRX's and classics are I think all H4 so the bi-xenon.
Can you post pictures of dip and main beam light patterns for the bi-xenon? How does the bi-xenon work, solenoid, magnetic field, strap on conventional bulb for main beam? Is there a website with pickies?

Rasheedn - Blob eye STi doesn't use an H4 so no you wouldn't want the bi xenon kit you'd want an H1 kit for dip and a 9005 kit for main beam.
Lots of useful info on the ebay page that you find if you look at the auction ref number in the third email. Has details of conversions available, all the ones that fit scoobies, and a choice of colour temperatures from max output (4300k) thro bluish tint (6000k) to full on max power (12000k).
Still no details of the bi-xenon. If I was buying I'd be very wary of that. Don't buy until you know how it works and get either photos of beam patterns for both dip and main or genuine info from someone who's got one.
