Default washer pump

right my front windscreen washers on my 94 WRX STI aren't working, ive checked all the fuses (well i think all the fuses-drivers footwell and in engine there aren't anymore are there?). I'm getting a volt metre tomorrow to see if there is any current going to the pump my question is where exactly is the pump?

Question

On my '98 UK car, it's attached to the resrvoir for washer fluid. Best bet is to take out the reservoir, then you can get at the pump.

Look for: is there a live when washer switch is "on"?
is there continuity between the earth and battery -ve?
are the terminals cacked up?
is the PUMP blocked with crud, as against the nozzles?
