Question

I suppose it could be a changeover relay?

Anyway, you can get a second (simple on/off four terminal), relay for about a fiver from Halfords, carshops etc, and use it to "switch" the PIAA relay via the OE foglight switch. Is that what you mean? I've done it, takes about ten minutes and about a metre and a half of wire, plus four spade connectors, covers for them, a scotchlok connector and one ring terminal.
If you want details, PM me.

The factory (well Dealers) install wires the PIAA's up to the front Fog switch. It's like that on my RB5.
