There have been a few posts on this subject before, however, the PIAA bulbs fitted by the Subaru dealers are 120W H3 and cost ~ £20 each.
Halfords do a 130W H3 for about £5, which, even if they only last half the life of the PIAA ones still leaves you quids in.

Phil m8,
I've had no end of troubles with PIAA bulbs in my RB5. After a year and a half of ownership and more bulbs than I can shake a stick at (dealers cost I might add), I decided to give the Halford one's a try.
That was 8 months ago and I haven't had a blown bulb yet. I was lucky to get 3 weeks out of the PIAA's. And at 4 times the cost, they can go and raffle themselves.
Big thumbs up for the Halford's bulbs.

Thanks one and all.
Didn't realise people were having problems with these! - I have been running the original set now for 2.5 years. Then suddenly darkness. The relay seems to be working and the boy Shark thinks that it could be that both bulbs have gone at the same time.
Looks like I shall be making a trip to Halfords to test out the theory - sorry Shark.
Regards
Phil
