Default Central Locking Problem On 1994 WRX

hi
i own a 1994 impreza WRX
it has a clifford cat1 alarm fitted (quite an old one)
there is an aftermarket solenoid in the driver's door only, the 3 other doors have the original solenoids instaled and wired up

only the driver's door is operating from the clifford key fob, the central locking doesnt work at all even if you put the key in the lock or operate the lock from the inside

ive been to my local ICE specialist and they have sold me a central locking relay and say this should sort the problem, just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and how they have overcome it.
ive stripped out the interior (seats, carpets, door skins etc.. ) and hooked up a 12v battery to each soleniod and each one works

ive found a 'door lock timer' box in the passenger footwell, what is this?? is it the subaru central locking relay?

any help would be appreciated

thanks
ash

sounds like the drivers door motor has gone to me
your slave motor from the alarm pulls your original door motor down which sends the feeds to the other door motors . if your drivers original motor has gone you would get these faults .
but this is only a guess as numerous other things could cause this 2

Hiya,

I own a 95 Impreza WRX Import.

Did you find out what was wrong ? I too have the same problem but not had chace to look at it yet. Only difference is I have a old Toad alarm but can lock the door with it, none of the other doors seem to work. Have tried with they key in both doors but nothing.

Does anyone have a good wiring diagram for the central locking for a 95 model?

Thanks

Richard
