Default CENck TRAL LOCKING PROBLEM

Hi,
my central locking has stopped working.Fuse had blown,replaced the fuse and it blew the first time i pressed the lock button on the remote.Any one have any ideas.the car is a v4 type r.

I would check the wiring, just incase any of the wiring has worked its self loose or the sheilding has worn/rubbed against bodywork.

Remove the door card & double check everthing. Check around by the door hinge were the wiring is feed through to the door & a pillar section (rubber grommit)

Check the timer door lock relay (passenger side, foot well a pillar) similar position as the fuse box but other side.
Its unlikely but possible thats its been contaminated with water. Remove it & open it up, check the circuit board etc?
